2018 BMW 3 Series vs 2018 Audi A4

The competition in the compact luxury sedan category is fierce. Many elite vehicles are on the road today that can offer drivers a little bit of everything: cargo space, leg room, features, performance, and good looks. Two models that are neck-in-neck when it comes to shopper attention are the vehicles in this 2018 BMW 3 Series vs 2018 Audi A4 comparison. Drivers could be satisfied with either of these models, but we like the BMW for its classic good looks and sporty handling. Drivers who want a little fun with their daily commute, as well as an iconic nameplate, may lean toward the 2018 BMW 3 Series.

In many ways these models are extremely competitive. Both have 13 cubic feet of trunk space, seat five passengers, have 17-inch standard wheels, and have a base 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine. In the base BMW 320i model and the Audi A4 Premium trim the feature content is also very similar. However, when you move into upper trims levels (and the more advanced engine options on the BMW sedan) things start to get interesting.
